Markus Jacobi studied architecture and urban planning at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB) and received his Master of Architecture from the University of Stuttgart in 2006. Before joining HENN in 2008, he worked at UNStudio in Amsterdam and studio MDA in New York. Markus Jacobi founded his own e-commerce company in New York and rejoined HENN in 2019 as a Senior Associate. As Head of Workplace Strategy he focuses on the design of sustainable and future-oriented work environments. He has developed workspaces for Google (Berlin), Baramundi (Augsburg) and Bayer (Berlin).
