Michaela Siskova graduated from the Department of Genetics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava. Concurrently, she attended the prestigious three-year Nexteria Leadership Academy, designed for talented students aiming to positively impact Slovakia. Michaela is the co-founder and CEO of DNA ERA, a Slovak lifescience company specializing in non-invasive DNA analysis and interpretation from human saliva. DNA ERA promotes better lifestyle-related decisions through self-discovery with DNA, providing science and data-driven insights.
In 2019, she was named ‘Entrepreneur of Slovakia’ in the ‘starting entrepreneur’ category. In 2020, she featured in Forbes’ prestigious ’30 Under 30′ list, recognized among thirty Slovaks who are changing the world and excelling in their fields according to the magazine. She was also nominated as ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in Trend magazine’s ‘Top Trend’ category in 2022.
In 2022 and 2024, Michaela ranked in the ‘Top Women in Business,’ specifically in the ‘Top Startupist’ category, according to Forbes magazine.
