Dr. Thorsten Müh is a chemical manufacturing professional, passionate for people and planet. After studying chemistry at the Technical University in Munich he started his career with F. Hofmann-La Roche in bioprocess development.
Thorsten has joined Bayer AG in 1998 in chemical process development, followed by positions with increasing responsibility in chemical manufacturing of crop protection products. He provided technical expertise to suppliers in China as well as QHSE management to Bayer sites in the Asia Pacific region during two expat assignments from 2008-2012.
Currently Thorsten heads Sustainability, Safety, Health and Environment in Europe, Middle East and Africa and is the respective business partner to the Pharmaceuticals Division of Bayer AG.
