Richard started his career 33 years ago at a Life & Pension insurer in the Netherlands, and moved to their reinsurance department in 2001. Joined a reinsurance broking firm in 2008, to set up a team dedicated to Life & Health reinsurance. As from October 2022 at Howden Re to build and expand the Life & Health reinsurance division, together with a specialized team in Amsterdam of which two actuaries. Advising, structuring and placement of reinsurance programs with a risk- and/or capital management focus for insurers, pension funds, captives and reinsurers, around the globe. Dutch, with a global touch!
