AXA Group Chief Actuary
Mohamed Baccouche was born in Blettech Tunisia in 1971. He graduated from the French actuary school ENSAE ParisTech and earned a PhD becoming a fellow of the EHESS Paris-specialty: the Microeconomics of Insurance. He was a board member of the French Institute of Actuaries as well as the Life & Longevity Market Association [LLMA] from 2014 to 2018.
Since September 2015, Mohamed Baccouche is the AXA Group Chief Actuary. He was previously in charge of Life & Health risks at Group Risk Management and was, prior to that, the Chief actuary of AXA France Life from 2008 to 2014. From 2000 to 2008, Mohamed contributed to numerous AXA France projects ranging from product development, distribution, reinsurance and inforce management.
