Marcéll is a versatile, result oriented QHSE and Risk Management Specialist with more than 20 years of broad and diversified technical and operational QHSE experience, legally responsible for strategy and corporate governance compliance in high-risk environments. His 13 years of Senior Management Level experience includes 10 years in Deep level underground gold mining (hard rock), 9 years of Civil Construction Project Management (more than 200 projects), 5 years UAE Government Utility Authority (Generation, transmission and distribution of electricity and water utilities), 5 years consulting for factories, plants, and agriculture and 5 years in marine operations, including international shipping and logistics, deep ocean off-shore mining, vessel conversions, in-port maintenance as well as vessel supply and support to the oil and gas sector.
In addition to submitting his Professional Doctorate in Business Management (DBA) dissertation in June 2020, his qualifications include a MBA (UK), Master of Applied Business Research (Swiss), UK Post Graduate Diplomas in Engineering Management, Healthcare Management & Leadership as well as Strategic Management & Leadership, as well as a Post Graduate (Honours) BCom in Business Management, a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Degree in Safety Management, a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, a Trade Certificate (Blasting in Scheduled Mines - Hard Rock) and numerous certificates of competence, including postgraduate “MSc: Mining and the Environment” and “MSc: Risk Management in Mining” certificates. His project management experience includes the active management of around 230 construction projects with DEWA (2015 onwards) and more than 200 construction projects under my direct responsibility as legally appointed Managing Director (Owner/Founder) of Macro Safety Management Services CC between 2005 and 2011.
