Silvana Lara is a Professional Engineer with more than twenty four years of experience in which she had worked in different areas of management and execution of projects within the oil & gas, and petrochemical industry in North & South America. Silvana’s experience allows her to play a key role in the Fluor’s Construction Management Team. Silvana’s experience includes Advance Work Packaging (AWP) development, planning and implementation, constructability support in FEED and detail engineering stages, procurement, supply management, module fabrication, construction site Workface Planning (WFP) as well as wide experience in quality assurance. Silvana’s main role as Fluor Global AWP / WFP Director is to provide leadership to the organization and functional areas in the development and implementation of AWP and currently is primarily engaged in management activities that establish the direction of the AWP / WFP department and projects where Fluor is using AWP / WFP. Silvana has develop Fluor specific AWP /WFP Training programs program, and has train over 250 Fluor people in 6 different countries and 3 different continents. Silvana has advocated that thinking and stepping back to reevaluate programs and procedures will benefit everyone in the long run, vocalizing that the key is implementing AWP and WFP solutions as well as data standardization to support the successful use of Fluor Construction Automations Tools.
