Steve Scott is a Chemical Engineer by qualification and a Storage Tank Specialist by experience. He is an active member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, the Institute of Energy and the Institute of Waste Management and an API Certified Storage Tank Inspector.
Steve has more than 35 years of experience in the oil & petrochemical industry gained from Imperial Chemical Industries, I.C.I through Cargo Fleet Chemical Company to Leigh Progressive Technical Services Ltd, where he was managing director of this leading UK oil industry service company. He is currently senior partner of BroNant International, a British consultancy providing training, trouble shooting and project management across a broad spectrum of engineering and operational disciplines. He is also the director of Scott 7Ltd, a company formed to develop the innovative Solv8 crude oil sludge control system. In the UK, Steve acts as technical and commercial consultant to the internationally respected Willacy Oil Services Ltd.
Steve provides training, troubleshooting, and project management across a broad spectrum of storage tank management, engineering, and operational disciplines, as well as total sludge management solutions. Has consulted various companies including BP South Africa, BP Galeota (Trinidad), Qatar Petroleum, Willacy Oil Services Limited and SEMFA International and others as well as conducting a number of well attended public courses in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Cape Town, Hong Kong and Johannesburg.
