Priya Guyadeen has more than a decade of experience in clinical trial management. She has in-depth knowledge of both the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, and expertise in the Latin American market. Today, Priya oversees a program of clinical projects (phase I-III) focused on rare cancers at Exelixis. Previously, Miss Guyadeen was a part-time faculty member in the School of Business at Centennial College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a position she held until May 2015. She taught in both the Global Business and International Development Programs where she had the opportunity to work with students on global issues including healthcare, poverty, and economic development. Prior to teaching, Miss Guyadeen was the Head of Nursing for Latin America for Fresenius Medical Care, a large multi-national medical device company based in Brazil from 2009 to 2013. She oversaw business activities for the nursing department including project management, roll-out of company strategies, customer service training, and staff education. Miss Guyadeen started her career as a registered nurse for Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She was recognized for her work in maternal and child health in Brazil with the Excelência Mulher award. Miss Guyadeen received her BSN and MS from the University of Maryland, and her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and is the former President of the Canadian International Society in São Paulo, Brasil.
