Zaha Hadid, United Kingdom
Before joining Zaha Hadid Architects in 2011, Uli worked for several leading firms including OMA Asia and Gehry Technologies in Hong Kong, where he was projects director. He has been involved in the Innovation Tower at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the competition to design the new Bejing Airport, the facade design of the Youth Olympic Centre in Nanjing and the design of and exhibition center in Datong, China. Uli holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences, Constance and a Masters in Architecture and Urbanism from the Architectural Association in London, which he completed in 2000. Uli has taught design studios at Chinese University in Hong Kong and at Hong Kong University. He had lectured widely on BIM and has taught computational design workshops ad Tsinghua, Bejing and HKU Shanghai.
