Angelo Spingardi

After completing his master’s degree in environmental engineering, Angelo Spingardi joined Saipem in 2008, where he has since leveraged his technical expertise and extensive international experience to advance his career, ultimately being appointed as Global Director of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) at Saipem. He oversees the HSEQ activities across all Saipem’s operations worldwide. With over 17 years of international experience in Europe, North Sea, APAC, Middle East, he grew from Offshore roles to Project Management leading the HSEQ subjects for several turnkey contracts, both Offshore and Onshore. He grew as engineer into a more balanced and structured senior manager role and with his innovative approach he skillfully navigates the complexities of HSE and Quality functions.
He is passionate about cultivating a health & safety culture that encourages among others, innovation, unconventional communications to achieve the company vision of eliminating Fatalities and Life Altering events.
Spingardi is also a Board Member, Vice President, of the LHS Foundation (Leadership in Health & Safety). A non-profit foundation established by Saipem in 2010 to promote a culture of health and safety in the industry and society, developing training activities, awareness campaigns, and cultural initiatives that effectively promote the values of prevention, well-being, and mutual care.
