Ashraf Sameh is the QHSE Manager of Renaissance Services Group based in Oman, with responsibility for managing Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environment within the entire Group Operations. Prior to joining Renaissance, Ashraf worked in QHSE field at several companies, including HAYA Water in Oman, Global SHELL in Syria, ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia, PETROLA International in Greece, Procter & Gamble in Belgium, and Petrochemical Complex in Egypt. Notable is his 33 years as HSE Professional for the previous Companies. He received BSc. In Chemistry from Alexandria University Egypt 1982, MSc. In Environmental Science from Hertfordshire University UK and NVQ Level 5 Dip in Occupational Health and Safety from UK. His professional interests focus on Human Errors and Environmental Conservation, and his current projects and researches include Waste to Energy Project. In addition, he is Internationally Registered Certified Auditor against ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 from IRCA UK. Internationally Registered Accident Investigator and Root Cause Analysis Team Leader from TAPROOT USA, and authorized NEBOSH Diploma Tutor by NEBOSH Accreditation Center UK. He is a member with the American Society of Safety Engineers ASSE, Society of Petroleum Engineers SPE, Institute of Occupational Safety and Health IOSH, National Safety Council NSC and British Safety Council BSC. Ashraf is a regular speaker in international conferences presenting number of papers about different topics of HSE across the Globe including United States of America, United Kingdom, Germany, Malaysia, Taiwan, Nepal, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Emirates, Kuwait and Oman. He was recently honored with the Green ERA Award by Otherways France for his contributions to the Environment Conservation.
