David Girardeau has been working in the Oil & Gas industry for the last 20 years in a HR Management role from Singapore to Houston via Europe. He started his career at CGG where he set up the HR structure “CGG International” in Geneva, then founded his own business as Consultant in Management that he sold to join Geoservices in 2005 to spearhead the HR transformation following Astorg Partners private equity firm took ownership of the Company. With Schlumberger acquiring Geoservices in 2010, he worked with the new Schlumberger Management team to transition Geoservices into the new organization. Then he was appointed as HR Director to be part of the Management team who created the Well Intervention business in Schlumberger. They grew this business through an aggressive growth strategy and reached $3Billion revenue in 2 years time with 8800 employees. He went through the downturn while he was in charge of Talent Management in North America, appointed to drive the Schlumberger “Transformational” change and to capture the best talents to fuel the Company with the next generation of leaders. He left Schlumberger and the US last summer to develop a new project in Europe. David holds a Master of Laws, Law and Practice of Labour Relations, from the University of Montpellier in France and an MBA equivalent from the Leading Training Centre for the Consultants in Management in France (IDCE).
