Douglas Taggart is Manager of Derivatives Trade Operations at GE Asset Management and has been with General Electric since 2010. In his role, Doug is responsible for leading the Investment Operations team overseeing all derivatives processing (exchanged-traded, cleared, OTC), collateral management, foreign exchange, cash management and regulatory operations. He also oversees projects and business initiatives relating to these areas. Before serving as manager of the derivatives team, Doug held two other positions at the firm: Senior Derivatives Specialist and Project Manager. Prior to joining GE, Doug worked for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) and its predecessor organization, The Bond Market Association in a variety of roles including Director of Membership, Manager of the Asset Management Group and Program Director of the Securities Industry Institute at Wharton. Doug is an MBA graduate from Fordham University and holds his undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross. He is a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honor Society for Economics. Doug is a native of Queens, NY and currently resides in Westchester with his wife and three children. Sailing is his favorite pastime.
