For the last 18 years, George has been based in Asia, where he has led the regional analytical teams for American Express, Citibank and HSBC … that’s leadership of hundreds of analysts, support for numerous and diverse business areas, and the delivery of multi-million dollar returns. In addition to leading analytics functions, he’s also directly managed businesses and sales/distribution functions.  His experience encompasses the end-to-end customer lifecycle – in all roles using analytics to drive product design and pricing, sales and marketing effectiveness, risk optimisation, operations and distribution. George is now semi-retired, but continues to be actively involved in Asian analytics – mentoring both analysts and business leaders to realise opportunities in big data, machine learning and the application of analytics to deliver real business impacts.
