Over 40 year of experience in banking with a very wide network with sell & buy-side professional financiers as well as the wider regulatory and central bank community. Work for various associations has been very helpful to positively influence the deeper development of financial market products and deliver positive advice for prudential, regulatory and central bank policies. In the last 2 decades advised employers on European financial and political issues and maintains regular contact with, in particular, all the European Central Banks and Treasuries, the European Commission and European Parliament. In 1999 elected as chairman of the pre-euro ISMA CRD repo working group. Developed the product into the current ICMA European Repo and Collateral Council of which he is Senior Advisor.
