Heiko Cassens

Heiko Cassens serves as the Head of Architecture, Risk & Portfolio Management at EY ifb Germany, where he oversees Treasury, Collateral, and Risk Management consulting and solution implementation for clients across Europe.
Before joining EY ifb in 2022, Heiko held several senior business management roles at LCH in London, starting in 2012, where he played a key role in the rollout of OTC Derivatives Clearing in Europe. Prior to that, he spent a decade at Thomson Reuters in London, focusing on Sales and Business Management in the FX and Rates markets, as well as e-trading solutions.
Before relocating to London in 2003, Heiko was the Managing Director of Trading and Risk Management at Reuters AG in Frankfurt, Germany, where he led the Risk Management Sales and Risk Consulting Division. Heiko earned his PhD in mathematics from the University of Hamburg and the University of Warwick.
