He is an Industrial and Systems Engineering from the “Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Tamaulipas”, has Masters in Business Systems Planning from the University La Salle and has CMRP certification from “Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals”. Began his professional development in 1990 in the refinery Gral. Lazaro Cardenas in Minatitlan, Veracruz, in the areas of maintenance, evaluation and programming operations. At the corporate level, coordinated the core team of the project “Maintenance Management System” also participated in the development for the model “Pemex Reliability” and its 14 best practices, particularly with the coordination of a group of specialists that identified and adapted international reliability best practices to Petroleos Mexicanos. He is currently Maintenance Manager in Corporate Direction of Planning, Coordination and Performance.
