Jens Lipinski is responsible for Patient Relations in the German Bayer Pharma affiliate. Before entering Bayer in 2008, he experienced broad work practice in different sectors of the German Health Care System. After his registration as Medical Doctor he joined a Clinical Research Organization with focus on execution of Health Economic studies and models. Being Assistant of a CEO of a group of Rehab Clinics, he designed and implemented New Rehab Business Strategies. In the German Stroke Foundation, Jens managed one of the major educational campaigns in Germany. During his employment in an international consulting company, he executed organizational and strategic projects in hospitals. Prior joining Bayer, Jens acted as Senior Expert Trans-Sectoral Health Care in the Umbrella Organization of German Guild Sickness Funds. Mainly involved in further development of German Disease Management Programs, he also represented the Guild Sickness Funds in several subcommittees of the German Federal Joint Committee. After three years in a Health Economic and Outcomes Research function in Bayer Vital, Jens entered the Health Policy Operations department of Bayer’s German Market Access group and was responsible for the submission of Bayer’s first German Benefit Dossier. In parallel, he conducted a broad range of advocacy projects in the ophthalmology field, and now is leading the expansion of patient related advocacy activities in Bayer Vital.
