Khalilulnisha Abu Bakar has been with the Government of Malaysia for more than 10 years and in 2013, she was posted as Principal Assistant Director to the Policy and Planning Division, JPSPN. She was involved with policy-related matters on solid waste management and previously involved with waste-related projects such as Low Emission Capacity Building, GHG Inventory, NKEA Greater KL/Klang Valley, 11th Malaysia Plan etc. She is currently the Chief Officer of Delivery Management Office, JPSPN and oversees the execution of solid waste management initiatives with focus on implementation of holistic waste management and market creation in the waste sector. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Environmental Management from University of Malaya and obtained her Masters in Sustainability and Management from Royal Holloway, University of London.
