Marijn Schenk (1973) graduated in 1999 from the Technical University of Delft, Faculty of Architecture. He is one of the founders of NEXT architects (, an international architecture office based in Amsterdam. At NEXT, Marijn was closely involved in the design of innovative workspaces, including B.Amsterdam, hotspot for startups, freelancers and creative entrepreneurs. The project was nominated for the Geurt Brinkgrevebokaal 2016, a yearly prize of the municipality of Amsterdam for the best  initiative in the field of redevelopment and renovation. In addition to his work at NEXT, Marijn is appointed director of Town Planning for the city of Amstelveen, chairman for the BNA Research Fund and advisor in the Committee for Wealth and Monuments for the municipality of Utrecht.
