Megan James is current Procurement Support Manager at Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority. She has over 30 years’ experience in management positions developing strategies to enhance business performance and staff capacity building in the fields of Education, Arts, Culture, Procurement and Strategy. In 2012 she project managed the first CIPS Gold Award Project in the UAE – the first outside the UK and the 13th in the world. Megan also has developed a procurement operating model and business processes linked to competency frameworks and cascaded to staff performance appraisals and development reviews. She has been in the UAE for 7 years and is a strong supporter of Emiratisation and an advocate for developing young procurement professionals.
