Mick Breet, a seasoned HSE leader with 17+ years of global experience, currently serves as Group Director of HSE at Building Materials Europe (BME), overseeing a vast network of 900+ sites across 8 countries. Dedicated to transformative change, he successfully implemented the Group HSE program, uniting 11 Operating Companies within BME and thereby significantly reducing accidents and improving leading indicators.
His journey includes influential roles such as Director of Environment, Health, and (Bio) Safety at Bilthoven Biologicals and Associate Director of EHS at Merck, Sharp & Dohme. In these roles, Mick significantly contributed to (global) programs, audits, and played a pivotal role in the Senior Leadership Teams.
His expertise extends to pivotal positions at Mead Johnson Nutrition, Sapa Profiles, and as a senior consultant for global companies, where he demonstrated proficiency in establishing robust management systems with a focus on risk management.
