Mirjam van de Ven is the Program Manager for Global Onboarding at Uber. With her previous experience abroad, in smaller start ups in the online gaming industry, she gained her passion to make employees feel at home from Day One. Mirjam joined Uber in 2013 and was the first People Operations employee outside the United States. Having seen the company grow from -200 to +10,000, she has played a vital role in scaling the HR function and onboarding globally during hyper growth. Mirjam constantly strives to improve all onboarding processes of today, to improve the customer experience of all new employees of the future.
