After achieving her MS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University (USA) sponsored by Fulbright scholarship, she continues her job as a mechanical engineer in the department of Power Plant Efficiency at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. She takes part in a team of maintenance engineers and is responsible for processes, scheduling and improvement of power plant’s planned maintenance outages, in order to bring EGAT’s performance to the global top-quartile standard in terms of availability and reliability. Along with her assigned task, she is also working on a research project of waste heat recovery (WHR) options applying to EGAT’s power stations. This project aims to develop systems driven by waste heat rejected to gain power plant efficiency and sustain fossil fuel resources at the same time. This research has been started off as her Master thesis at Purdue. WHR options focused are Organic Rankine Cycles (ORCs) and absorption chillers.
