Mumbi Odame (CCXP) is an experienced banker with a passion for client experience, and people development. She is currently responsible for Corporate Client Channel and Cash Management at Barclays Africa for 10 countries in Africa where she is committed to contribute to continuous improvement. Mumbi Odame was previously the Head: Client Experience Management at Nedbank and was responsible for client experience design and driving key initiatives under the client experience strategy, the annual measurement of the strategy as well as ensuring a client centred culture through the business. She has vast banking experience having worked for Nedbank and previously for Citi Kenya and South Africa. In addition to Operations and Customer Experience, she has experience in other aspects of banking that include transactional banking, correspondent banking, relationship management and credit which all contribute to her expertise in crafting branded experiences in her organisation. Mumbi is also a qualified coach registered with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She has over 10 years of coaching experience. She coaches individuals and businesses to create and achieve their vision and goals. She has a practical approach that includes setting up systems and processes. Mumbi holds a BSc. Electrical & Electronics Engineering Honours from JKUAT, Kenya and a MBA from Gordon Institute of Business Science.
