Nasser Al-Buhairi is a Security, Intelligence, and Emergency Management Professional, with experience encompassing the State of Kuwait, GCC region, and MENA, he possess extensive knowledge in the areas of crises / emergency management, corporate security, antiterrorism, oil and gas security, maritime security, force protection, and intelligence. Nasser served as a naval officer in Kuwait Navy, and the Intelligence Department of Kuwait Armed Forces for 10 years before he lift the service as a Captain. He joined the private sector where he worked at senior management level with many multinational companies like Agility Logistics one of the world leading logistics companies, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts which is regarded among the most luxurious and innovative hotel chains in the world, The Council of Ministers of the State of Kuwait as a senior consultant to the Security Decisions Follow-up Committee in the field of critical national infrastructure protection, and emergency management and most recently for the Oil Sector Services Company as the Chief Security Officer for the Coastal Protection Force. He also enjoy more than ten years of independent and associate consultancy experience with many international business. Nasser delivered and designed training programs for number of government and private sector clients in the fields of Maritime Security, Intelligence, emergency management, Corporate Security, and Antiterrorism. In addition, he is recognized as a security analyst for number of international press agencies. Today Al-Buhairi work for Kuwait Oil Company one of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation subsidiaries in the capacity of the Chief Security Officer – Maritime Security and acting as the Head of the Emergency Response Coordination Unit. Nasser is a graduate of Britannia Royal Naval College where he was awarded the Best Officer Cadet in the Fleet award. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Studies with focus on maritime safety and security from Plymouth University, and a DHiE of underwater acoustics from the same institute. He was also recognized as the first international officer ever to be honored by the Royal Navy (UK) and was awarded the sword of honor by Britannia Royal Naval College.
