Nicola has worked for HSBC in the Retail Banking business for 11 years. She joined HSBC Card Services (USA) in 2006, where she was responsible for optimising insurance sales to Credit Card Customers through the inbound and digital channels. She relocated back to the UK in late 2007, joining the UK bank as a Proposition Development Manager. In this role she worked on several major strategic initiatives across the Insurance, Mortgage and Wealth product categories, culminating in being part of the team who developed and launched HSBC’s post Retail Distribution Review proposition. In 2012 she moved into a Global role in the Insurance team, and became Head of Insurance Proposition Development in 2015. In this role she is responsible for working with cross business global and country teams, and where appropriate third party providers, to evolve the Insurance offering to better meet the needs of HSBC’s Retail customers. Her responsibilities also include working with Marketing and Communication teams to increase Insurance visibility and awareness across HSBC’s Retail customers and also with HSBC’s front line teams.
