Noha Amin is the current Information Security Unit Head, in Kuwait Finance House Bahrain (one of the leading Islamic Banks in the Gulf Region), and has more than 16 years’ of experience in IT and Information Security, holding international professional certificates: ISO 27001 LA, CISM, CEH, ITIL, MCSE, CCNA, CCDA. Noha was the first woman to work for the Information Technology Department in KFHB. The bank was recently nominated for two awards at GISEC 2014: Best Data Leakage Prevention and Best Information Security Implementation Program. KFHB is also the first Islamic Bank in Bahrain to accomplished ISO 27001 Certification for 5 consecutive years by TUV Germany. Noha has been nominated for multiple awards for her contribution to cyber security, including: Award Winner, May 2016, “CISO100” by: MESA (Middle East Security Award”, Dubai. Second Winner (Highly Commended), July 2015, “Women of the Year Award” by: Cyber Security Awards, UK. Finalist, March 2016, for “Women in Compliance Award” by: C5, UK Finalist, January 2016, for “Women in IT Award” by: Information Age, UK. Winner of two postgraduate scholarships in Egypt: Microsoft Scholarship by Governmental Leadership Development Institute and Cisco Scholarship for Engineers by NTI (National Telecommunication Institute). Furthermore, Noha is an Advisory Board Member for OWASP Middle East-WICS (Women in Cyber Security), and has been invited as a Speaker and Panelist for eCrime and Information Security Congress – Feb 2016 in Dubai, and a Panelist for MESA Conference, May 2016, Dubai.. Noha’s current work includes building a role model Cyber Security Defense methodology with solid base of Information Security policies and procedures, and controlling KFHB users’ access profiles across the bank’s systems, and managing information security risks through well controlled operational risk processes.
