Peter Luke is the Director of the Global Project Office at Novo Nordisk. Peter brings 20 years’ experience in the Project Management arena, delivering pharmaceutical, petrochemical, commercial and infrastructure projects in Denmark and internationally. Most recently, he was the Project Director for a multi-billion DKK project within Novo Nordisk. Prior to joining the Novo Nordisk team, he worked at construction engineering and consulting firms servicing the construction industry. In his current role, Peter is responsible for a team of 14 project managers and cost professionals. His group leads strategically important capital projects within the Novo Nordisk project portfolio and works closely with senior management and critical stakeholders. Peter holds a bachelor of science from Denmark’s Technical University and an executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School and is project management certified through the Project Management Institute. Additionally he is a board member of Dorte Mandrup Architects, a Dispute Adjudication Board member at the Danish Institute of Arbitration and a board member of the Risk Management practice at the Danish Society of Engineers, IDA. Peter has published several papers on project controls and risk management and is a frequent speaker at conferences on the topic of project management.
