Peter Menelaou has worked with Mediclinic for over 22 years, initially in South Africa and then in Dubai after he transferred to Mediclinic Middle East as Chief Marketing Officer in 2010. He is a member of Mediclinic Middle East and Al Noor Hospital Group’s Executive Committee. During his tenure at Mediclinic Middle East, he has been responsible for the rebranding of the company to Mediclinic when it acquired all remaining assets in its joint venture with Varkey Group in 2012, and has played a key role in managing the merger of Mediclinic Middle East and Al Noor Hospitals Group. He is a key proponent of the importance of the patient journey in determining the perception of a healthcare provider, and has overseen the implementation of the Press Ganey patient experience measurement tool within the company.
