Philip Whittaker is currently the Chief Commercial Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer – Integrated Theme Parks & Attractions of Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels Sdn. Bhd. He originally joined Themed Attractions and Resorts Sdn. Bhd. (“TAR”)’s Sales and Marketing division in October 2011 where he previously oversaw corporate partnership, sales and marketing for the group. Prior to that, he has 20 plus years’ experience in sports and entertainment marketing, working with leading Australian and global brands. He has developed an extensive corporate network and held senior positions with Warner Village Theme Parks, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and the Goodwill Games. He has also successfully founded and managed a number of leading marketing agencies. He holds a degree in Hotel Management (with Distinction) from Griffith University and a Masters of Business in Marketing (with Distinction) from Queensland University of Technology. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and a Certified Practising Marketer. Philip is also the past National President of Sponsorship Australasia Association and was inducted into the Sponsorship Australasia Awards 2011 Hall of Fame for services to the sponsorship industry
