Richard is a co-founder of ApconiX, and a toxicologist with more than 30 years of experience in drug safety. He was a project toxicologist at AstraZeneca in both the US and in the UK supporting projects in multiple therapy areas involving small molecules, biologics, proteins and oligonucleotides. He spent a number of years as the Safety Lead for Oncology for AZ, where he was part of the Drug Safety and Oncology Leadership Teams. He has an in-depth understanding of drug discovery and drug development and involved in helping many new candidate drugs into clinical trials and to marketing approval.
