Rogier van Hamburg is a digital native who spend his entire career in building new digital business models, e-commerce and digital transformation. He studied international business administration, focusing his master on strategy & innovation. Rogier started his professional career at a start-up that created the first online job board for students. It was during this pioneering phase that he developed a passion for creating and running successful online propositions to consumers and businesses. He then joined Aegon as Webshop manager, responsible for online sales and services in the Netherlands. After an international assignment to start e-commerce activities for Aegon in China, Rogier launched a digital business development team to drive a company-wide digital transformation program in the Netherlands. Early 2015 Rogier was a core member of the team that created Aegon’s first global digital strategy which resulted in his current position as Head of Digital Strategy & Business Development for Continental Europe and Asia.
