Rosita Vasilkeviciute is the Head of Danske Bank Global Services, Lithuania (GSL). Being one of the key strategic units of Danske Bank, GSL provides a broad portfolio banking operations (markets, transaction banking, private banking, personal banking, etc.), professional services and business support functions (legal, HR, finance, procurement, etc.) as well as front-end product development (Mobile Life). Since the end of 2012, when GSL was set up in Vilnius, Lithuania, the centre grew to more than 1000 employees. Due to outstanding performance and its teams’ professionalism GSL operating model shifted from site based operations to a Global Functional set-up. GSL operates six competence centers using best industry practices, but still in development phase (KYC, AML screening & monitoring, reconciliations, securities, payments and transfer pricing) and is looking into expand the scope. Besides her role as the Head of GSL Ms. Vasilkeviciute is also heading the Global Utilities area in Danske Bank. Prior to joining Danske Bank Ms. Vasilkeviciute spent 13 years in Transcom WorldWide S.A., which is a leading business process outsourcer, specializing in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Credit Management Services (CMS). For the last 7 years in Transcom she worked as Country Manager for Lithuania and Latvia, developing, bidding, contracting, implementing and operating large local, multi-lingual and offshore/ nearshore CRM deals across different industries (Telecommunications, Financial Services, Retail and Travel, etc.). Ms. Vasilkeviciute holds an MBA degree from the ISM University of Management and Economics (Vilnius, Lithuania).
