Ruth Namuyinga, MD MPH is board certified in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine. She completed her residency training at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2014 and fellowship in Epidemiology as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2016. Ruth then joined the pharmaceutical industry as Associate Director of Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Daiichi Sankyo Pharma Development. She is responsible for safety of both investigational medicinal compounds and marketed drugs. Among other roles, Ruth leads aggregate signal detection and the safety monitoring plan for assigned products.
