An MBA (HR Option) holder from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Bachelors of Education (Maths & Accounting) degree from the University of Nairobi with a Second Class Upper Division and a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Human Resource Management. She emerged the best student Training & Development and Employee Resourcing in her Higher Diploma class and was the best student in her MBA, HRM class at the Catholic University. She is well possessed of the requisite knowledge, skills and experience in Human Resource Management, training and development & related disciplines. She possess over 10 years work experience in her field, currently in Senior Leadership as the Cluster Human Resources Manager, Maersk Kenya Limited overseeing 11 countries in the Region. She has previously worked with Nestle Kenya Ltd, Corn Products Kenya Ltd, the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Standard Group. She has expert knowledge and firsthand experience in end to end recruitment, employee development, training, career and succession planning, performance management, policy development and revision, job evaluation, organizational development and reorganization, ISO 9001: 2008 training, documentation and implementation, coaching, mentoring, training among others. Sharon has helped many people develop themselves and maximize their potential bringing out the best in them. She has had one to one sessions with a lot of young people, young professionals, university students and church youth groups. Her passion for people is seen in the glow in her face every time you interact with her. Her background in education and natural acumen comes in handy in training and presentation, making her an excellent trainer and resource person. She has been training since the year 2006 on such areas as ISO 9001: 2008, performance management/appraisal, safety and health, employee development and career growth, leadership development, stress management, customer satisfaction, time management, the wow employee/manager, personal success, labor laws and disseminating HR Policies and Procedures, and interpretation, among others. Sharon is Mummy to Shammah, a 6 year old adorable boy. She enjoys dancing and hosting friends.
