Stewart McNair joined Halliburton in April 2013 as the Senior Director of Human Resources for the Eastern Hemisphere, based in Dubai. Stewart is a Human Resources professional with 27 years of experience in various practitioner and leadership roles. He started his Human Resource career in the airline industry and has spent the last 18 years working in the global energy industry, primarily for upstream oil and gas companies. During his energy career he has also been entrusted with corporate and governance responsibilities for both private and publically listed companies. Stewart has a degree in psychology from the University of Manitoba, and holds the SHRM-SCP and HRMP (HRCI) certifications. Halliburton, the world’s second largest oil and gas service company, is currently in the process of acquiring Baker Hughes Industries, the next largest oil and gas service company. Halliburton’s pre-acquisition workforce in the eastern hemisphere is approximately 28,000 employees, in 68 countries. The post-integration workforce has yet to be finalized.
