Stoil is currently a Director in Global Markets at BBVA, responsible for the funding, capital and collateral strategy of the repo desk, globally. Stoil has 17 years of experience in Global Markets at Tier 1 institutions, having previously worked for 16 years in Barclays as a repo trader, structurer in Treasury and before that running large-scale strategic projects for the Global Markets area.
Apart from the day-to-day management of the repo portfolio, he is actively involved in industry conversations shaping the future of the repo market through digitization, tokenization, AI and cloud computing.
Stoil holds a BSc in Computer and Management Sciences from Warwick Business School.
