Thierry Laugerette works at Monitor Deloitte in the Chemical Strategy Practice since July, 2014. Founded in the early 1980s by a select group of Harvard Business School professors, Monitor Deloitte has been at the forefront of strategic thinking, research and innovation for almost 30 years. Thierry has over 15 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical and Specialty Chemicals industry. He enjoyed challenges in diverse management position in R&D, technical services, sales, operational and strategic marketing position at Sanofi, Boehringer Ingelheim, WACKER Chemie AG and Lafarge SA. In his last position, Thierry was in charge of the In-house consulting corporate department of WACKER Chemie AG, focusing on “Marketing Excellence”, “Pricing” and “Marketing of Innovation”. Thierry supports the growth and differentiation of crop science, specialty chemicals and industrial gases leaders with Business Model innovation, Pricing execution, Sales & Marketing Excellence in a Digital world. At Monitor Deloitte German Practice, Thierry leads the service offering on Pricing and Profitability Management and on Commercial Excellence. The technology gaps closing more rapidly than ever also for new innovation, Sales & Marketing Excellence, combined with Pricing execution, are two still underused operational levers for differentiation for chemical players willing to strengthen their market and technology leading edge.
