Tim is the Head of RBS Choice & Design where he leads the bank’s global cultural change initiative for workplace and working pattern flexibility. The design and development of ‘destination’ workplaces, where people go to collaborate and innovate is a key element, and Tim is leading this move away from the more traditional offices that have become associated with large organisations and is fundamentally changing how people think about the workplace. By continually seeking to understand the future of work and the workplace, Tim has been able to develop a strategy that not only delivers customer and employee benefits but also optimises the use of RBS’ real estate portfolio by reducing the amount of office space needed, along with the associated costs. Tim holds a BA (Hons) degree in Interior Design from the Edinburgh College of Art and is a member of the Association for Project Managers (MAPM) and the British Institute of Facilities Management (MBIFM).
