Course description
Maintenance organizations are under increasing pressure to improve reliability, reduce downtime, use data more effectively and justify investment in digital tools. At the same time, AI, IIoT sensors, predictive analytics, drones, AR/VR and digital platforms are being promoted as solutions to long-standing maintenance problems.
However, technology alone does not create value. Many organizations invest in tools without having the data structure, workflows, culture, skills or business case needed to use them effectively.
This practical course helps maintenance and reliability professionals understand where AI and digital tools genuinely fit within maintenance management. It focuses on how to use AI, CMMS data, IIoT sensors, analytics and supporting technologies to improve decision-making, work execution, asset performance and reliability outcomes.
The course is vendor-neutral and does not require prior AI, data science or programming knowledge. It is designed to help maintenance professionals understand the opportunities, limitations, risks and practical implementation steps before investing heavily in AI-enabled maintenance technologies.
