“Servier Industries has launched a digital transformation project called DIGILENS, in line and coherent with the Group's digital transformation. The objective of this project is to contribute to improving performance by creating value in terms of productivity, quality, customer service and by facilitating the daily work of teams in the field. Following the example of OPEX, this project first and foremost positions the Human element at the heart of the transformation by focusing on 3 dimensions: mindset & behaviors, tools and management. This project is based on teamwork involving the Performance and Information System Departments within the Industry Department.

The first stage, carried out since January 2017, made possible the identification of all needs and opportunities for digitization on each of the perimeters. A total of 7 initiatives out of more than 100 were selected to start the exercise in September 2017; if the test phase (Proof Of Concept) gives the expected results, the initiatives will then be industrialized and deployed on the sites concerned in 17/18 with a view to inter-site deployment in 18/19; these initiatives are: -Big Data & Analysis – Flavonoids / mobile devices for maintenance technicians and analytical laboratory technicians / digitization of working instructions for packaging / digital dashboard & control tower / digital dashboard and virtual visit of sites / CDMO promotional support.
